Meizu M1 Note Review

Thursday, December 15th, 2016 - MEIZU

Meizu has decided to grow its catalog, which until now was quite short in regards to models per year, and also in variety. If we liked what they did with the MX4, the more we were surprised by its ability with the Pro version, staying with a high-end quite competent in the Android market.

Now they have decided to widen their eyes by creating a new family of devices that they have christened Blue Charm, and that premieres with the Meizu m1 note. A phablet with less technological aspirations than the models described above, but a very powerful price for what it offers.

First, the screen size will serve to place us. The m1 note is going to 5.5 inches, a dimension widely used among the best-selling models in the Chinese market.

The display technology is IGZO, or what is the same, a panel developed by AUO / Sharp. The pixel density is set at 400ppi, as this time is content with an ideal resolution, 1080p. The maximum brightness level is 450nits and represents 72% of the color of the NTSC gamut. It is also interesting to know that it has Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

What are we inside to move that screen? As the affordable option in the Chinese market, but not less efficient: MediaTek and its MT6752, a heart with eight cores and configuration 64bits – 28nm -, accompanied by an ARM Mali-T760 GPU and a couple of gigabytes of RAM.

Moving to see the cameras we find modules developed by Samsung, with a main unit of 13 megapixels – size 1 / 3.06 “, 5 elements in the lens, f / 2.0 -, and a front of 5 megapixels, which boasts of Use a module with four elements in the lens and a maximum aperture f / 2,0.

The Meizu note m1 is not a large phone, measures 75.2 x 150.7 x 8.9 millimeters and weighs 145 grams. There is room for a battery of 3,140 mAh, which is not bad. In case there were doubts, its colorful body is made of polycarbonate.

We will not go too far with the system, since Meizu herself does not. We do not know the exact Android version that fits, but we do know that it has Flyme customization in version 4.

It is a phone originally designed for China, but for Meizu we should never rule out having a global orientation, as it is working with its latest models. As you can see in some image, it is a Dual SIM phone, with the tray located on the side.

There we will ask for about 130 euros – to change – for the Meizu m1 note of 16GB, available in the following colors: pink, green, blue, yellow and white. If we go to the 32GB model its price rises to 160 euros (always at the direct change).

This is a phone with LTE connectivity with downloads up to 150Mbps. We know that you like to be informed about the networks to which these types of phones are connected – FDD-LTE and GSM – but we do not have that information yet.

Hello everyone, I am here with the analysis of the Meizu M1 Note, the latest model of the manufacturer with which wants to make a gap in the sector of 5.5 inches.

Since I met the brand with the analysis of the Meizu MX4 (one of the best Chinese mobile at the time) I am delighted with it both for its quality and support, certainly a TOP brand.
